Little Black Dress and Purse

A fashion piece... the little black dress and it's matching purse!  The instructions for the dress can be found on stampandstretch.com (thanks for sharing!) I added the little matching purse.  It was created with the Holiday Collection Framelits. It has a Hershey Nugget on the inside. A girl needs her chocolate! :)  I found these fun lipstick pens at Target, they came in a package of 4 with red, pink, dark pink and purple.  A lipstick or ChapStick would fit perfectly inside too.

Secret Garden Peat Pot

Stampin' Up! and many others have been using peat pots in their projects and they're so darn cute, so I had to try it for myself.  It was a little out of my comfort zone, but it was a fun project and good challenge. I used the Secret Garden Bundle to create the flower along with several miscellaneous accessories.

Birthday Treat Card

I'm proud of myself, I came up with a masculine card. I don't know about you, but I have a hard time making anything masculine. I hope he likes it, but why wouldn't he, it holds a treat and a gift card. :)

Thank You French Fry Box

Challenge met...another way to use the Dress Up Framelits!  I created the bow with one of the dresses!  It fits the french fry box perfectly.  The matching pen, notepad and paper clip fit and look perfect on the inside.  My inspiration for the paper clip came from the fun variety of paper clips Staples sells. I should give myself challenges more often, maybe I'd get my money's worth out of my HUGE stamp and accessories collection! Or as I call it...my mini craft store. He,he

Birthday Wishes Envelope

I'm sooo ready for warm weather, so I created a little envelope that has a warm weather feel. :)  The sweet little daisy is created with the Secret Garden Framelits.  I cut three of them to give it added dimension then snipped each petal in a smidge more.

Fancy Favor Purse

I used the top note as a closure for the fancy favor.  Now it's a cute little purse! The flower and tags make perfect embellishments.I love this color combination.

Matchbox Thanks

To make this box, I took the matchbox bottom and put a different top on it. It's fun to have it open a little differently. Now I need to think of a way to keep it tightly closed.

Happy Hour Card

Remember the Dress Up Framelits Die challenge, I gave myself?  Well guess what my lemonade glass is made with...yep... the Dress Up Framelits die! Fun huh, and so is the colorful paper straw!

Two Tags Cupcake Box

I found the instructions for this box on paulinespapier.de. She gives easy to follow instructions. Many thanks to her for her effort and for sharing. I call it a cupcake box because I think a cupcake would fit perfectly on the inside and make a great gift!

Banner Birthday

Love, love, love this card, because it's sweet and simple!

The Dish

So I held out until I couldn't hold out anymore. I purchased the Dress Up Framelits Die!  It's one of those dies I can't see many uses for, so I'm challenging myself to come up with a few.  I haven't seen anything other than the obvious dress, so I used it as an apron on my dish soap, because I have more dirty dishes than dresses :) I think this little dish cloth cupcake and mini dish soap would make a sweet little housewarming gift or just something cute to put next to a sink full of dirty dishes. :)
