A simple, but messy way to create a subtle background, is flicking ink onto card stock. I’m sure any color of ink refill you like would be fine, I chose white. Start with 3-4 drops of ink on a piece of plastic, dip a toothbrush into it, then using your thumb, flick it on your paper. Make sure you have something large under the card stock to the catch flying ink. š
