Jar Of Flowers For Mom

I don't think there are many moms who wouldn't want flowers for Mother's Day.

So why not stamp them on a card in a jar?! No watering involved with these flowers. 😉 These sweet little flowers are from the Stampin' Up!, Colorful Seasons Bundle.

Birthday Cello Bag

A cello bag with handles! Love it! 💕

Matter of fact, I love it so much I sell them in my new Etsy shop.  You can find the link at the bottom of my blog.  Better hurry, I don't have many sets.  I'll be sure to create more if needed

Look at the sweet birthday treat I created with my handled cello bag. 😊

Monster Box

Time for a little something for the boys.  The belly band on this keeps the box top closed and conceals a folded line across the middle.

I created this monster box with my Sizzix Shaker Box die and the Stampin' Up! Yummy In My Tummy stamp set.

The fold is needed to prop up the little monster so the candy and "it's your day" sentiment can be revealed.  The sentiment is attached with pop-up foam adhesive which helps keep the folded top securely behind it.

I have six Hershey's Nuggets inside, but I think there are many treats and treasures that can be placed inside.

Top Note Pink Purse

I still have the Stampin' Up!, Top Note die.  How can I get rid of it when it can be used to create a sweet little purse like this one?  Just because a product retired years ago doesn't make it worthless. Right?

I challenge you to use a product you have that retired years ago.  I hope you still have something? 😉

Rose Birthday Bag

So... I wanted to challenge myself a bit more with the March Paper Pumpkin.  I like the Mother's Day card I created but felt it looked too much like one of the intended cards. My favorite item in this kit is the rose envelope.  It's gorgeous just the way it is, but...I do have more than one...

Guess what?!  Now I have one less envelope and one cute birthday bag. 😊

May Good Things Grow Mother’s Day Card

I finally came up with a second alternate idea for the March Paper Pumpkin.

It's a Mother's Day card! It was an obvious choice. 😊

Chevron Birthday Bag

This bag is great for any birthday girl.  It's as simple as adding a handle, flower and birthday sentiment to a gift bag.  I created the flower with the Sizzix Spiral Flower die.  I think it's a bit tricky to create, but once you figure it out, it's adorable.

Berry Basket Card Set

I absolutely adore this little card set!  I created it with the Berry Basket Bigz die and Berry Best stamp set.  Both are by Stampin' Up! and have been retired. ☹️ The cards and envelopes are 3" x 3" and fit nicely inside the basket.  I'm not good at water coloring so I used stamp pads and blender pens for that task.  They're great for getting a watercolor look.  I can say, I'm pleased with the results. 👍

Clear Birdhouse

Look...I turned a clear tiny treat box into a birdhouse.  I started with a 2" x 6 1/2" piece of cardstock.  I scored it at 2", 4" and 6" then folded it into a triangle shape.  One side of the triangle gets tucked under the flap of the box before it's closed.  The roof is a 5" x 2 1/2" piece of cardstock folded in half and glued to the triangle shaped top.  I scalloped the bottom edges of the roof before glueing it.  The bird was created with the Bird Builder punch.

May Good Things Grow Invite

The April Paper Pumpkin Kit is definitely one of the most challenging for me.  It's a lovely kit, but not my style at all.  It was a fun challenge to come up with this invitation and I still want to come up with a second alternate idea. I hope I can do it. 😕
