You know how I feel about Valentine's Day, so you must know how I feel about the January Paper Pumpkin. It's adorable, especially the colors! I created this little gift sack with and envelope and card from the kit.
Here's the top half of the stamp from The Little Things stamp set from the previous post. To be honest... I cut this particular stamp in half. Sometimes I do that with my stamps. I feel I'll get more use out of them that way. If I'm being honest, it's also because I'm too darn lazy to use markers when I want more than one color on the image. 😜 This solves that problem! Ha!
For some reason I get a kick out of seeing a Valentine treat/gift in a take-out box. Luckily I have a stencil for creating this little box. As soon as I find a take-out box die I'll be buying it. 😉 For now, I simply traced the stencil on Valentine patterned paper, cut it out, folded it together and filled it with treats. The little banner is part of The Little Things stamp set. I used the bottom part of the stamp on this project and the top part on another project I'll be sharing on my next post.
I finally used my Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks to create the background on this card. It was much easier than expected and I liked using a sponge so I could apply as much ink as desired. The "love" and washi tape are from the Positively Picturesque Paper Pumpkin kit. I'm always happy when I can use pieces from my Paper Pumpkin kits, it takes away the guilt from seeing them pile up. 😜
I was so excited to use this stamp from the Festive Phrases stamp set and I'm extremely happy with the completed project. The stamped image with a little color on a white gable box is perfect. It was so easy and I love, love, love it! 💕
I gave my daughter a Cricut Maker for Christmas. I can't believe it has so many vinyl choices. So, when I purchased some for her I snuck in a couple for me. 😏 I can't believe how easy my dies cut through vinyl. For this project I used the Heart 2 Heart Frame Dies by My Creative Time. Now I understand her obsession with the Cricut Maker and vinyl. The possibilities ... ! I'm trying to keep it from obsessing me! 😍
This little treat was created with a 2x8 cello bag, patterned paper, small piece of ribbon, Sunshine Wishes dies and a couple of Hershey's Miniatures. I often wish my girls were in grade school again for many reasons. Today I wish they were so we could make fun things like this, for their classmates on Valentine's Day.
I can't believe all the fun projects poodles.co.uk creates. She is so clever. I watched another video of hers for this "adorable mini box." It's so stinkin' cute, I had to make one. I created mine for Valentine's Day because it's my second favorite holiday after Halloween! 🎃❤️. Yay, onto Valentine creations! 😊
I've had the Happiest Of Days stamp set for months. Now that I've used it I'm wondering why I waited so long. I loved this set the moment I saw it and now I love it even more. ❤️ This card is definitely one of my favorites, it looks so simple and dainty. I might have to keep this on a shelf in my room so I can look at it often. 😉
I needed to jump start my creativity so I searched YouTube for inspiration and found instructions for these adorable mini bags on Pootles.co.uk. They're made with a single sheet of 6x6 designer series paper. She has easy to follow instructions and the best part, no cutting or glueing required!
The "oops" die-cuts in the Flora & Flutter Paper Pumpkin worked in my favor! I turned one of the incorrect die-cuts over and attached it to one of the correct ones. The glitter paper helped make it all pop. Love this card!
Itwas a busy end of year but I found time to create a couple of projects with my Flora & Flutter, Paper Pumpkin kit. For my first project, I started by sealing two of the ends of one of the cards in the kit, to create a pouch. I added a stamped tag and twine, then I added a small piece of the glitter paper to the top of a magnetic calendar. I placed the calendar inside a cello bag and slipped it inside the pouch. Now my plain calendar has a glamorous look along with a fun way to present it.
