Wish Big Cake Slice

I was determined I didn't need the Cutie Pie Thinlits because I have something similar. Wouldn't you know, it's become one of my favorites! Just look how cute and simple a birthday gift can be made! :) Now remember...I'm determined I don't need the Home Sweet Home Thinlits either, hehe.  ;)

Frankenstein Popcorn Box

Halloween?! I tried to hold out but I can't do it anymore! :) When I was making all those other projects with my popcorn box die I made this Frankenstein. I just love him! He has a friend I'll be showing soon, so stay tuned. Yay for Halloween, my favorite! :)

Pillow Box Purse

I haven't made a purse in a while and thought the Square Pillow Box Thinlits would make a great start. I used the Oval Collection Framelits for the flap and a stamp from the Ready To Pop stamp set to make a tag.

Bag In A Box

I haven't made a bag in a box in such a long time, I forgot how easy and stylish they can be. The stamp I used is from the Ready To Pop stamp set but the designer paper retired long ago. However, the gold binder clip is a new embellishment and a must have!

Gold Popcorn Box

I can't get enough of this popcorn box! :) I punched circles out of gold tape (found at Target) and adhered them to the box. It took a little time to punch and attach all the circles but the end result was well worth it. A couple of gold foiled chocolates, gold tag and gold tulle turned it into a glamorous little treat. :)

Halloween House

Stampin' Up! has a new thinlit set called, Home Sweet Home. I'm trying to convince myself I don't need it, so I used my popcorn box die to create this little house to prove to myself I can make something similar with the dies I already have. So far my plan is working, but as soon as I see a fun idea I can't duplicate with what I have..... no promises! ;)

Wish Big Box

I have a great Sizzix die called Box W/Flap. I purchased it because it reminded me of a crayon box. :) For this project I didn't use it as crayon box, I used it as a birthday box. Although, it's back to school time so it would've been perfect for crayons. :)

Happy Hello Envelope Bag

I've been cleaning and organizing my stamp room and have found so many fun things I forgot I had! :) When I stumbled across the Happy Hello Simply Sent Kit I decided to create something with it, so I made this fun gift bag out of one of the envelopes.  I love how it turned out and the look of yellow and gray together.

Tea-riffic Butterfly Cup

Here's a simple tea gift. I used the word window punch to create a small notch from the butterfly so it can rest easily on the side of the cup.  I clipped a tag to my tea bag that I created with the Nice Cuppa stamp set and Cups & Kettles Framelits, which sadly both are retired. :(

Birthday Baker's Box

I'm happy the Baker's Box thinlits stayed in the new Stampin' Up! catalog. It's a good size box, easy to assemble and fun to decorate. I stamped this box with the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set.

Card Gift Card

This fun card idea was on Rachel Tessman's blog, stampyourartout.com.  I love the concept because it's your card and gift all in one! Thanks for the great idea Rachel!

Self Closing Boxes

I decided to make the self closing boxes I've seen everywhere.  They were much easier to create than I expected. The shape makes them a little challenging to embellish, but the way they close is fun. You can find many tutorials on YouTube for different sizes of these boxes.

Birthday Cheers Card

Here's a fun simple card. Die cut balloons and Lots of Love stamp set. The stamp set has been retired for years, but it's one of the many sets I chose to hold onto and I'm glad I did. I hope this card inspires you to use the retired stamps you have because they can still make great cards! :)
